SysTools SQL Log analyzer tool to read & analyze SQL Server Log file (.ldf) transactions in both
offline and online environment. To connect SQL .ldf file in online mode, SQL LDF reader needs SQL Server credentials. While in the offline mode software gives an option to browse transaction log(.ldf )file manually. The scanning process starts after software reads the log records and live scan progress report can be seen like no. of records, no. of insert operation, no. of update operation & no. of delete operation. After the scanning process completes, screen prompts with a message to save the scanned records as a backup with file extension .str. Click on ‘OK’ and choose the location to save. In future user can use this file instead of scanning .ldf file again and scanning time can be saved. After this, SQL log file reader software previews the transactions performed INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, etc. with in LDF files. In the left side of the panel all the database name with the table and in the right side the transaction, login name, time, transaction name, table name, query. Other option in SQL LDF file reader software is to re-arrange the order of the list of items. Three export option is there within SQL log file viewer software to export the recovered data: to SQL server database / SQL compatible script / CSV file format. User can use check / uncheck to select single or multiple records to export.
